Got "tooted" by the 143-driver as I was reading at the bus-stop waiting for a ride home at the end of my day. Grinned at the fella.
Kinda miss my early morning bus rides to work. I was so predictable that that jolly gentleman would actually look out for me and wait at the stop if he saw I was still making my way down the overhead bridge steps.
Most of the bus drivers going by my work place are usually kind enough to look out for us exiting the front gate and rushing to the not-so-near-stop to catch the bus that may be up to another 1/2hour in coming.
Me and my ST anyways, have perfected the bus schedule down pat. She'll rush me along especially at the final 4 o'clock slot for the bus arrival, afterwhich the buses would be absolutely packed with the workers from the industrial side.
So expeditiousness can be a *good* trait.
K had asked me to take stock of how many watches I currently have after I can't tell her off the top of my head.
Maybe it is a manifestation of that fixation with time that my obsession with watches began.
Maybe it festered from the wide-eyed awe of a 6-year old being gifted a digital Casio at the start of primary school.
Maybe it is just simply a girl thing (though some may refute my girliness).
Yes, I do realise I have only two wrists. And although I may sometimes switch sides. Never, nor will I ever adorn both with timepieces.
Stop shaking your heads! I just absolutely love and am utterly fascinated with watches. What's so weird about that???
