SIGH. Finally took time off to get my tickets. Thanks to dearest, understanding P.
I seem to be getting more and more slack. Only confirmed all the travel details yesterday.
Have not made the slightest move to pack (Unlike certain persons who shall remain unnamed who did so weeks ago!). Have not changed any money. Have not even started to look for my passport!
On the other hand, there's still a few more days before I fly off. Meanwhile, have more urgent deadlines.
Daunting to get everything settled. Yet looking forward to a break. With "Boboi" arriving soon, I may not get to jet off again these few months coz would feel guilty about leaving Mum alone with him.
So it's probably good that today's meet-up with some old friends was in the end rescheduled to an unknown date. I can get more things accomplished then. But was rather disappointed. Was so so looking forward to meet up with the gang.
On the other hand, got to meet up with another old friend. And got a new book as the prize! LOL! Thanks d muchie. A new read will do much to distract me from all my Things To Do. But then, I won't get to do anythng else. Hmpf.
Actually travelling's not as much fun and thrilling as it used to be. Am I getting way too jaded? And yet I'm also excited at the thought of a future venture to either Europe or Aussie.
Quite a few friends have also asked me to Bangkok. I'd rather go to somewhere I've never been to, actually. But always end up "learning" something new each time I go there. ;D
Maybe I should go with ALL of those friends who asked me since they are from different points of acquaintance. Will be an Amazing Race meets Big Brother kinda reality thing. Hehe.
But rather than them killing each other, I suspect I'd be the one wanting to kill myself having to put up with theclash mesh of characters. LOL.
