1)Total number of books I've owned:
Hmmm... see, the Musical Baton was easier to do coz my pc do the crawling to count the stuff. Shall I put it as 2 drawers, one headboard compartment, 2 shelves, 3 boxes of books??
2) The last book I bought:
Abby Cooper: Psychic Eye by Victoria Laurie
3) The last book I read:
The Second Summer of The Sisterhood by Ann Brashares
LOL. I did not know this was a book mostly meant for teens. And which included a travelling pair of pants. But the themes in the book are pretty interesting anyways.
4) 5 books that mean a lot to me:
5??? Hmmmmmmmmm...
1. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott (and the continuation of Good Wives, Little Men, Jo's Boys)
This is one of the books I'll read over and over and over again and still not tire of. Have always meant to get the whole collection, but have not found a complete set with covers that I find nice. This is one of the books taht come alive pictorically in my mind as I read the words.
2. Separation Anxiety by Karen Brichoux
I don't like starlings either. I got this in an attempt to obtain enlightenment on... etcetera etcetera etcetera. I didn't get any wiser at the end. But I did feel pangs flipping page after page, feeling a resonance that is not enjoyable, but I still have to get through anyways. Now it's kinda a security blanket, an alternative solution to... stuff that I'll keep at teh back of my mind... HAHA
3. Red Sky in The Morning by Elizabeth Laird
This was actually my Literature text back in "high school". Yet another of those books I can read over and over, but which each read will still be a fresh experience in the sense that it could invoke all the gamut of feelings all over again. Also, it talks about death, which was a topic I was "fascinated" with then, trying to comprehend certain things. I'm none the wiser now, but I've learn to deal.
4. Key of Knowledge by Nora Roberts (and the preceding Key of Light and concluding Key of Valour)
I don't particularly like romance novels coz they get too predictable. But mix in magic and legends and I'm in! I like the stubborn characters central to this part of the trilogy. Hmm... wonder why.
5. Boy Meets Girl by Meg Cabot
One of the hamper of books Nat got me for my birthday. I like this because it's so quirky. And what can I say, quirks are drawn to quirks. I adore how the story is told over emails, IMs, menus, receipts. In sobriety and drunkenness. Find the style so intriguing and totally fetching... in my books, at least!
5) Tag 5 people and have them fill this out on their blogs:
Errr... People I know either been tagged or aren't such avid readers?? Let's try anyways...
