Whoever said chilvary is dead? And surprisingly enough, they are of the older generation, and of blue-collar.
Mummy being mummy, is always worried of me being out so dark and early. Actually, there's quite a lot of people out taking public transport from 5.30am on. There's usually a couple other people at the busstop apart form me. And seats on the buses are 90% occupied. After a while, you recognise the familiar faces. And sometimes, you idly wonder about them.
There's an uncle who takes the same bus from the same stop as me. He'll nod his head at me and gesture for me to board before him. Then, there's another uncle who'll rise from his seat upon seeing me, since he's alighting at the next stop. Today, he went a step further by warning me against taking another empty seat in front of him as it was wet (Plus I also just realised that he's Malay) Such sweet guys, right.
Other characters on the bus include a group of Filipino nurses from AH, 2 dishy guys and gals who'll alight at the same stop as me at JE. There's also another guy who boards at my old stop. I'm stumped what he might possible be working as. Something about his stance gave me an idea once that he's an OM, but I doubt schools would have condoned his earstud. Lately, there's also been a trio of guys working in the engineering industry (judging form the name of their company on the shirts) , one of whom always sleep so soundly and has to be awoken by his friends, then in his grogginess will proceed somewhat drunkenly off the bus.
Shall I end with the note that all this I observe with my usual morning habit of napping in the bus. :) So I must not have been sleeping too soundly, right, when I've managed to wake up in time to alight at the right stop 99.9% of the time. ;) SPT had cautioned us, the other day about keeping secrets, about being careful not to discuss work with partners and family even in case we let slip something. For me, the possible slipup would be if I've been muttering while napping on the bus. LOL.

And the truth comes out
I hear the secrets that you keep
