More on TodayOnlineFrom June, those sitting for a driving or riding theory test will do it via computers.
Called the Computerised Theory Test (CTT) system, it will be introduced at the three driving centres. Candidates will take their basic, advanced and riding theory tests via touch screen computers, and they will know the results immediately after taking the test. Now, they know the results only about seven days after taking the test.
When we heart snippets via the news last night, was so excited. Sounds so easy, right, to take theory from the comforts of your own home. LOL. Forgot that that would have been it would have also been easy to refer from the theory guidebook. LOL.
Anyways, it became a conversation argument starter with Bro, who was suddenly very irritatingly doggedly insistent that I take my license. To the point of counting the time I would take should I knock off work promptly (HAH!) then take public transport, what time I can get to BBDC, the nearest driving centre for me. To the point of counting down that I could possibly get my license by year-end. To the point of calculating in his mind the best package I should take. To the point of my contemplating having to have to kill him for persistently asking when I'm registering, have I not thought about how he's the father of my unborn nephew. :P
I forget too often how this mamat can be such an irritating specimen! Told him I'd consider if he's getting me a car to drive for my birthday. He told me he'd consider letting me drive his car when I get my license. LOL.
Darn! I guess this is one prezzie I can never cajole good ol bro into getting for me? ;)
