"It's not amusing like I believe
I gotta wean myself off"
American Film 101-Pop Culture
I did slightly better than ok for my American Film module back in uni, but why couldn't we have had more films of the later part of the 20th century? Films that people actually refer to/of, instead of snore-inducers that no one not living in the era those movies came out in, would actually watched.

I don't know where I got all the silly, trivial information that I do have in my head, that ends up in me always being the walking reference book. But today I chalked up one more on whatever notch there was. Was watching my SATC-MB Special, when they broke out singing Memory and talked of The Way We Were. Not a fan of Barbra Streisand, but kinda liked that movie. Today was channel-surfing when I ran smack into the middle of Love Affair and finally understood that scene in Sleepless In Seattle, and basically the premise of it.

Which in my roundabout way, brings me full-circle to what had been bugging me all day, but which I'll only mention in a convulted sense as usual. Had a totally weird dream, out of the culminations of all that has been running through my head of late. I blame in on Z, whom I was last talking to, cause after all these years, she is still the reigning queen of weird (dreams). SIGH.

PS: Well, Happy Blated New Year, Folks. I so am appreciating the weekend that broke the momentum of a new school year.
