Am very extremely upset.
My T1 suddenly celebrated it's 5th anniversary with me by refusing to work. On an old friend's wedding of all times!
Somehow I don't think the cost of sending it in would be quite justifiable, considering how the newer models cost half of what the original did.
But although all around have been trying to placate me by saying we had a great 5-year relationship while it lasted, it's still unbearable to think of replacing it.
I don't care if you think of me as the ultimate geek, but I really do love my T1 and I'm honestly very sad and this is all very distressing!
1 mulled it over:
*pats nia on the shoulder* There, there. Look, it's had a good 5 years, but I actually thought you would send it for repair. But if the costs aren't worth it then... *sob*
I mourn its loss too.
