The beginning was a bit slow, but it does pick up rather well. Love the cool dance moves. Tyler could be so funny when he was improvising some steps. Was super sweet how he managed to find enough back-up dancers to fulfil Nora's vision of having a group in sync.

Love the scene at the club where Lucy's BF was singing and they all got into a synchronised dance routine. A bit the Bollywood, but it was really cool. Sad about the climatic turn which resulted in the death of the lil brother, that was an unexpected turn. Also liked the finale with Miles conducting the orchestra. Overall a very enjoyable movie, might wanna get the soundtrack.

PS: MysterN (the aspiring hip-hop dance student hehe) was saying he didn't get to watch dance movies very often. Me on the other hand, watched almost all that came along. Help to get over not doing dance anymore. Something I miss lots actually. Out of all the array of "things" that I had the chance to do ontage throughout school, dance was the one thing that was naturally enjoyable (plus was something I wasn't pulled/pushed into doing out of someone's idea of my so-called potential). Or maybe time has made me forgotten all the gruelling workouts KA used to make us go through and all the scoldings CA used to direct, especially at me as a senior. *sobs* I ran into CA once after leaving HSS, and he, the great champion of arts, was pretty disappointed in me for not doing dance anymore. Didn't confess that I was pretty disappointed too.
