Lady In The Water

I laughed a lot during the movie. Which is *not* a good thing when it's supposed to be a suspence genre. Some scenes were just so silly!

For instance the Korean girl who explains the legend to Cleveland the protagonist strangely made me think that she was a HKer instead, or else was based on actress Margaret Cho.

Discovering the members of the guild was vaquely intriguing, especially in relation to the symbolisms that had foreshadowed the significance of certain background characters. But there wasn't enough of the intrigue to carry through.

M Night Shyamalan is also apparently getting more narcisstic, if he had cameos in his previous films, he's an actual credited character in this one. Or maybe he just couldn't find enough people to want to act!
